🦚 Profile Peacock
@profilepeacock

Make yourself publicly accountable by showing your progress toward an important goal—directly on your profile picture! Simply add a fraction (e.g. 21/100) anywhere in your Twitter name, and we'll take care of the rest. If you want a progress arc but don't have a fraction, no worries, the default is the percentage completion of the year—we're that far in already?

Profile Peacock will also encourage you on your journey—check it out!

Updates currently happen every 10 minutes, so it may take some time for your progress ring to appear at first. DM me on Twitter if you have any issues or any suggestions.

⚠️ Permissions: Twitter apps only have three levels of permission available—“1. Read only”, “2. Read and write”, and “3. Read, write and access Direct Messages”. I have requested the fewest permissions possible for this to work (#2—your DMs are safe) but unfortunately Twitter does not yet offer any further granularity here. In the meantime, you'll just have to take my word for it that I won't abuse any of these. Here's a list of others who have.

This app will never tweet on your behalf nor do anything other than change your profile picture(s). More can be read about Twitter app permissions here. You can always revoke permissions for this—or any other app—from your Twitter account's connected apps page.
